We recently stopped at the Dark Horse Restaurant in Findlay, Ohio, on a trip down to Tennessee. We were a little hesitant once we pulled into the parking lot… The restaurant’s exterior is nothing to write home about, but don’t let it fool you. Once inside we found a welcoming atmosphere and friendly service.
They are open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner; and have an extensive menu featuring pasta, steak, burgers, and salad. Desserts and a full bar are also available.
We were there for lunch and had the “Grilled Smashburger” and the “Dark Horse BLT”. Both were excellent. The prices seemed more than reasonable. The place was quite busy and the meals leaving the kitchen looked delicious.
Dark Horse Restaurant is located about 1/2 mile from I-75, exit 151. Once you leave the exit, take OH 99 east to North Maine Street. Then left on North Main Street. Dark Horse Restaurant is on your left.
