Dinner Bell Restaurant – Berea, KY

Dinner Bell Restaurant is eerily similar in look and feel to a Cracker Barrel… complete with front porch rocking chairs and country gift shop. But that’s where it ends. The food here is much better!

Berea, Kentucky is about 45 minutes south of Lexington and right off I-75. It always seems to be around dinner time when we pass through this area, so we’ve been here a bunch of times.

What can I say about the food? Well, it’s very good and tastes like home cooking. We always get generous helpings of whatever we order. Some of the choices we’ve tried include the all you can eat Breaded Catfish (Fridays), all you can eat Pork Ribs (Saturdays), and the Turkey and Dressing (not all you can eat, but a healthy portion!). Service is quick, the staff is friendly and the prices are more than reasonable.

It’s one of those restaurants that you discover once every few years, and a nice change from most Interstate exit fast food. We recommend it to all I-75 travelers!
