The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will resurface the ramp from southbound I-75 to northbound US-23 (Exit 188). This is part of an overall $6.5 million investment in repairs and resurfacing on I-75 from the Bay/Arenac county line to Lincoln Road in Arenac County.

This work will require a three-week detour. Estimated starting date: Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2016, with an estimated completion date: Friday, Aug. 26, 2016. Southbound I-75 traffic will exit at M-61 (Exit 190), travel eastbound to southbound US-23 (South Main Street), and take the westbound US-23 connector back to southbound I-75. Repairs and resurfacing along I-75 are expected to continue through Oct. 28.
