Here is some good news for travelers on Interstate 75 in Northwest Georgia. Renovation and retrofitting work on the Georgia Welcome Center on I-75 South in Ringgold has been completed and the Center is now open.
The Ringgold Welcome Center has been closed for renovation since November 30, 2015. During that renovation and beautification time, motorists had no access to the Georgia Welcome Center driveway, parking areas or building.
Renovations to the Georgia Welcome Center in Ringgold included new signage, repairing both car and truck parking lots, landscaping, lighting, and painting the entire building.
The 10,200 square foot Georgia Welcome Center on I-75 just south of the Tennessee State line was first built and opened to visitors in 1997.
