On November 11, 2020, two commercial vehicles collided on the Brent Spence Bridge resulting in a fire and temporary bridge shutdown. The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is working with partner agencies to repair and reopen this vital regional connection travelers rely on.

As a result, the Brent Spence Bridge, carrying I-71/75 across the Ohio River, is closed until further notice. All heavy truck and through traffic motorists are being detoured via the I-275 outer belt, as well as I-471 and I-71.

More information as it becomes available.
