Continued Lane Closures for I-75 Work in Kentucky

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has issued the following I-75 traffic advisory:

Continued lane closures for northbound I-75 in Fayette County. The temporary closures are necessary for milling and resurfacing operations to progress.

Operations are scheduled for Sunday, June 16 through Thursday evening, June 20/Friday morning, June 21 – 9:00 p.m. each evening until 6:00 a.m. the following morning.

The schedule for Sundays through Thursday evenings/Friday mornings will continue through Thursday, August 1st. Regular hours of work are scheduled Sundays through Thursday evenings/Friday mornings.

There may be instances when work hours are extended due to weather or schedule conflicts. Alternating lane closures will be in effect between MPs 111.95 and 121.12 (the Fayette-Scott County line). Motorists should be aware that I-75 may be periodically reduced to one lane during the hours of work.
