The Florida Department of Transportation reports that the southbound I-75 ramp from Gibsonton Drive is closing Monday, June 28 from 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 29, weather permitting.

During these closures, motorists will continue east on Gibsonton Drive, south on US 301, west on Big Bend Road (CR 672) onto the southbound I-75 entrance ramp.

Advanced warning signs and electronic message boards will assist motorists traveling through the detour route. Motorists should anticipate delays and congestion during these temporary ramp closures.

These detours are part of a $9.8 million repaving project of I-75 between Big Bend Road (CR 672) and Progress Boulevard in Hillsborough County.
