As part of Ohio’s Interstate 75/Thru the Valley project, restrictions will be in effect during the overnight hours this week and next on I-75 and Sharon Road.
During the week of October 25, Sharon Road will be closed between the I-75 North and South ramps during the overnight hours, daily from midnight to 4:00 a.m. The overnight closures will be in effect beginning at 12:01 a.m. each day, Tuesday through Friday, October 26-29, with restrictions lifted by 4:00 a.m. each morning.
Westbound Sharon Road traffic to I-75 South will be detoured by way of Canal Road/ Evendale Drive and the Glendale Milford Road interchange. Eastbound traffic to I-75 North will be detoured via I-75 South to the Glendale Milford Road interchange and I-75 North.
In addition to the Sharon Road closure next week, the following restrictions are scheduled to be in place during the overnight tonight and tomorrow:
- Tuesday, Oct. 19: Double-lane restriction on I-75 North between Glendale-Milford Road and I-275, from midnight to 4 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20. Short-term, 15-minute full closure of the route will also be in effect at various intervals during this time.
- Wednesday, Oct. 20: Double-lane restriction on I-75 South between Glendale-Milford Road and I-275, from midnight to 4 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 21. Short-term, 15-minute full closure of the route will also be in effect at various intervals during this time.
During the short-term, intermittent periods of closure, traffic will be stopped and held by law enforcement officials.
