The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) is gearing up to clear the roads across southwest Ohio as snow hits our region for the first time this season. Crews will be out around the clock working to keep the roadways clear. Pavement temperatures are currently above freezing, but as the sun goes down temperatures will drop. Drivers should take extra precautions on bridges, ramps, and overpasses which tend to freeze first.

The snow is expected to continue through the night, so motorists should allow extra time for their morning commute.  Drivers are asked to give plow drivers some space to do their jobs, and remember roads can be slick, so please use caution behind the wheel.
