Express Lanes Requires Daytime Traffic Pacing on I-75 in Georgia

The Georgia Department of Transportation reports that the NWC Express Lanes work for the managed lanes access at Big Shanty Road requires a daytime traffic pace for rock blasting that will affect I-75 Northbound and Southbound motorists.

The work is located on I-75 Northbound from I-75/I-575 split to Big Shanty Road and I-75 Southbound from Wade Green Road to Big Shanty Road

Traffic pacing will occur Friday, September 9th beginning at approximately 1:00 p.m.

ADVISORY: Motorists are advised to expect delays and exercise caution while driving in these areas. On-site message boards indicating dates and times will be present in advance of these closures.
