The Florida Department of Transportation reports that the southbound I-75 ramp (Exit 250) to Gibsonton Drive is closing Sunday, September 12 from 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Monday, September 13, weather permitting.

During this closure, motorists will continue south on I-75 to Exit 246, east on Big Bend Road (CR 672), and onto the northbound I-75 entrance ramp towards Exit 250 (Gibsonton Drive).

Advanced warning signs and electronic message boards will assist motorists traveling through this area. Motorists should anticipate delays and congestion during this detour.

This temporary closure is part of a $9.8 million repaving project of I-75 between Big Bend Road (CR 672) and Progress Boulevard in Hillsborough County.
