The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) reports that all northbound I-75 travel lanes from Gibsonton Drive (Exit 250) to US 301 (Exit 254) to close nightly from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., on Monday, April 7 and Tuesday, April 8, weather permitting.
Northbound I-75 motorists will have to exit the interstate using Exit 250, merge onto eastbound Gibsonton Drive, turn left onto northbound US 301, and re-enter the interstate using the northbound I-75 entrance ramp.
Motorists traveling southbound on I-75 should not be impacted by these closures. Advanced warning signs and electronic message boards will assist motorists traveling through the area.
These temporary interstate closures are necessary for concrete pavement repairs to I-75 in Hillsborough County.
