Georgia I-75 Construction Requires Ramp Closures

The Georgia Department of Transportation reports that weather permitting, DOT contractors will continue resurfacing approximately 4.4 miles on I-75 northbound at the I-285 eastbound interchange in Clayton County.

Contractors will close the I-75 northbound ramp to I-285 eastbound Monday, August 29 overnight. Closures will take place from 9:00 p.m., Monday, August 29 until 5:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 30.

DETOUR:

Traffic traveling on I-75 northbound to I-285 eastbound will take the C.W. Grant Parkway/ Air Cargo/International Parkway exit (exit 293). Motorists will take the International Parkway loop ramp until International Parkway intersects with C.W. Grant Parkway. Turn right on C.W. Grant Parkway. Continue on C.W. Grant Parkway to I-75 southbound loop ramp. Continue on I-75 southbound to I-285 eastbound.

ADVISORY:

Motorists are cautioned to reduce their speed while traveling through work zones, pay attention and watch for workers.
