Georgia DOT Suspends Road Work for St. Patrick’s Day Holiday

The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) announces that St. Patrick’s Day holiday work restrictions will be in place beginning Wednesday, March 16 at noon until Friday, March 18 at 10:00 p.m. No lane closures or work that restricts or interferes with traffic will be conducted during these timeframes.

  1. The only lane closure restrictions in effect for St. Patrick’s Day time period in Georgia are in the vicinity of I-16 and I-95 near Savannah. Restrictions on lane closures do NOT apply to I-75 or any other location in Georgia.
