The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that an interstate lighting upgrade has begun on a section of I-71/75 in Boone and Kenton counties. The operations include changing halogen bulbs to efficient LED bulbs (conventional lighting).

Crews have set up a southbound left lane closure in the area of US 42 and the I-275 interchange (179.5 – 185 mile-marker). Crews will be working day and night in this area until Friday, March 18.

Please be work zone alert. Work is weather dependent.
