The Ohio Department of Transportation reports that pavement work for a bridge rehabilitation on Interstate 75 in Cincinnati at Liberty Street has been rescheduled, with lane restrictions on southbound I-75 in effect next week, May 18-19.
On Monday, May 18, the left three lanes of I-75 South will be closed between the Hopple Street and Freeman Avenue interchanges for crews to complete permanent pavement markings, weather permitting.
The restrictions will go into effect beginning at 7:00 p.m. Monday with a single-lane closure, followed by a double-lane closure beginning at 8:00 p.m. and a triple-lane closure at 11:00 p.m. One through-lane will be open to southbound traffic throughout the overnight, and all lanes will be reopened by 6 a.m. Tuesday.
Then on Tuesday, May 19, the right lane of I-75 South will be closed along with the Western Avenue/Ezzard Charles exit (No. 2A) beginning at 7:00 p.m. and continuing until 6:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 20.
