The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) reports that, as part of the I-75 project between M-15 (Ortonville Road) and the Oakland/Genesee county line, crews will be building emergency pull-off areas and temporary crossovers in the I-75 median.
From 9:00 p.m. Friday, August 9, through 5:00 a.m. Monday, August 12, northbound I-75 will be closed from US-24 (Exit 93) to Saginaw Road (Exit 106), weather permitting.
Northbound I-75 traffic will be detoured via northbound US-24 (Dixie Highway) (Exit 93) in the Village of Clarkston and continue north to I-75 in Genesee County.
This portion of the project is expected to be completed in late fall.
