I-75 Exit Ramp in Florida to Close Sunday Night

The Florida Department of Transportation reports that the southbound I-75 exit ramp (246) to Big Bend Road closing from 8:00 p.m., Sunday, June 28 to 6:00 a.m., Monday, June 29, weather permitting.

During this closure, motorists will be detoured around the work zone using Gibsonton Drive (exit 250), continue west on Gibsonton Drive, south on US 41 to eastbound Big Bend Road.

Advanced warning signs and electronic message boards will be used to assist motorists traveling through the detour route. Motorists may anticipate heavier than normal volumes of traffic on nearby roads during this closure.

This closure is part of the $20.1 million repaving project on I-75 between the Manatee County Line and Big Bend Road in Hillsborough County.
