The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will close two lanes in each direction on I-75 at Otter Creek Road (Monroe County) for bridge patching and maintenance beginning Friday, December 9 at 9:00 p.m.

Work is expected to be completed by 6:00 a.m., Monday, December 12, 2022. The overall completion date for this I-75 project is November 2024.

Drivers are advised to seek alternate routes.

MDOT is investing approximately $126 million to rebuild more than 4 miles of I-75 between Erie Road and Otter Creek, including rebuilding five bridges along with the ramps at Otter Creek and Luna Pier roads. The majority of work for this project is taking place in 2023-2024, with preparations taking place this year.
