The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists work has begun to add an additional dedicated left turning lane to the I-75 southbound exit 171 ramp to Mary Grubbs Highway (KY 14/16) in Walton (mile points 171.3 – 171.54).
Once complete, the ramp will have two left turning lanes and one right turning lane. This will ease congestion and provide for the safe and efficient movement of traffic through the interchange.
Both lanes on the I-75 southbound exit ramp to Mary Grubs Highway will remain open for the majority of the project.
The date, time, and duration of work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.
