Weather permitting; Georgia Department of Transportation crews will close the Howell Mill Road entrance ramp to I-75 (exit 252) southbound for paving activities. A detour will be in place.
The closure is scheduled for Wednesday, July 24 and Thursday, July 25, overnight 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the following mornings.
Detour: Motorists will be directed to take I-75 northbound to Moores Mill Rd (exit 254), then detoured back to I-75 southbound. Message boards and signs will alert drivers of the ramp closure in advance of approaching the area.
Advisory: Exact dates may change due to weather or other factors. Motorists are cautioned to reduce their speed while traveling through work zones, pay attention, and watch for workers.
