The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) reports that the northbound I-75 ramp to westbound SR 574 (Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard) will close from 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 28, to 5:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 29, weather permitting.
During this temporary closure, motorists will proceed onto eastbound SR 574 (Dr. MLK Jr. Boulevard), make a U-turn at the next traffic signal (Williams Road), and continue west on SR 574 (Dr. MLK Jr. Boulevard). All truck traffic should continue north on I-75 toward westbound I-4 (Exit 261), proceed west on I-4 toward US 301 (Exit 7), stay right at fork onto southbound US 301, and continue south toward SR 574 (Dr. MLK Jr. Boulevard).
Electronic message boards and signage will assist motorists traveling through the area. Motorists should use caution while traveling through the work zone and remain alert for construction workers.
These temporary closures are part of the I-75 ramp configuration and interchange modifications from SR 574 (Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard) to I-4 in Hillsborough County. This project is expected to finish in 2025.
