The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) reports that the northbound I-75 entrance ramp from SR 574 (Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard) will close nightly from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., through Monday, March 3, weather permitting.
Eastbound motorists will continue on SR 574 (Dr. MLK Jr. Boulevard), turn left onto Mango Road, enter the interstate using the westbound I-4 entrance ramp, proceed toward Exit 9, stay left at the fork, and merge onto southbound I-75.
Westbound motorists will continue on SR 574 (Dr. MLK Jr. Boulevard), turn right onto US 301, enter the interstate using the eastbound I-4 entrance ramp, proceed toward Exit 9, and merge onto southbound I-75.
Electronic message boards and signage will assist motorists traveling through the area. Drivers should use caution while traveling through the work zone and remain alert for construction workers.
These temporary ramp closures are part of the I-75 ramp configuration and interchange modifications from SR 574 (Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard) to I-4 in Hillsborough County. Construction activities are expected to finish during the summer of 2025.
