The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) reports that, starting Thursday, January 16, through Wednesday, January 22, the northbound I-75 ramp (Exit 256) to the Selmon Expressway will close nightly from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., weather permitting.
Motorists needing to access the Selmon Expressway from northbound I-75 will have to exit the interstate using Exit 257, turn right onto SR 60, turn left onto Faulkenburg Road, and proceed toward the Selmon Expressway entrance ramp.
Electronic message boards and signage will assist motorists traveling through the area. Motorists should use caution while driving through the work zone and remain alert for construction workers.
These temporary ramp closures are necessary for ongoing concrete pavement repairs to I-75 from Progress Boulevard to Woodberry Road in Hillsborough County.
