The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) reports that the southbound I-75 ramp to US 301 South will close this weekend beginning at 9:00 p.m., Friday, January 31 and reopen before 5:00 a.m., Monday, February 3, weather permitting.
During this weekend ramp closure, motorists needing to access US 301 South from southbound I-75 will stay right at the fork (proceed toward US 301 North), merge onto northbound US 301, turn left onto Faulkenburg Road, turn left onto Progress Boulevard, and proceed east toward US 301.
Electronic message boards and signage will assist motorists traveling through the area. Motorists should use caution while driving through the work zone and remain alert for construction workers.
This ramp closure is necessary for crews to perform concrete pavement repairs to I-75 from Progress Boulevard to Woodberry Road in Hillsborough County.
