A project to repair the pavement on I-75 at the entrance ramp to eastbound state Route 562 (Norwood Lateral) is scheduled to begin, with substantial construction getting under way later this month.
Contractors for the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) will be rehabilitating the pavement on I-75 just north of the exit to S.R. 562 East by installing a load transfer platform to support the pavement structure. Temporary barrier wall has been installed to close the shoulder throughout the project; however, construction will require three, full weekend closures of I-75 North.
Beginning at 10:00 p.m. on Friday, September 27, I-75 North will be closed just past the S.R. 562 East ramp through 3:00 a.m. Monday, September 30. During closure, traffic will be detoured via S.R. 562 East, I-71 North and I-275 West.Â
Full closures of I-75 North will also be in place from 10:00 p.m. Friday, October 4 through 3:00 a.m. Monday, October 7 and from 10:00 p.m. Friday, October 11 through 3:00 a.m. Monday, October 14. Traffic will use the same detour.
