I-75 Rest Area in Marion County Temporarily Closed Thru February 9

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) reports that the southbound Marion County rest area located near mile marker 346 on I-75 will be closed through 6:00 a.m. Friday, February 9, for resurfacing of the rest area’s entrance and exit ramps.

These improvements are part of the Florida Department of Transportation’s (FDOT) 14-mile resurfacing effort currently taking place on I-75 from the Sumter County line to State Road (S.R.) 200.

Alternate rest stops are located 37 miles north of the Marion County rest area in Alachua County and 39 miles south in Sumter County.
