I-75 Rest Area to Close in Marion County September 10

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) reports that the southbound I-75 rest area located near mile marker 346 in Marion County will be closed to the public from 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 10, to 6:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 11, to resurface the rest areaā€™s entrance and exit ramps.

These improvements are part of the FDOT 14-mile resurfacing project on I-75 from the Sumter County line to State Road (S.R.) 200. Alternate rest stops are located 37 miles north of the closed facility near mile marker 382 in Alachua County and 39 miles south near mile marker 307 in Sumter County.

Please note the work schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.
