The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) reports that a traffic pacing operation is planned for northbound and southbound I-75 between the I-4 interchange and the SR 60 interchange on Friday, May 26, from 12:01 a.m. to 5:00 a.m., weather permitting.

During each pacing operation, law enforcement vehicles will slow traffic to 20 mph and create a 20-minute window to allow TECO Energy to remove overhead power lines over I-75 travel lanes in Hillsborough County.

At times, access to entrance ramps from I-4, SR 574 (Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard), and SR 60 will not be available until the front of the pacing operation has passed.
