Lane Closure at I-75/I-475 Junction in Georgia, Expect Delays

The Georgia Department of Transportation reports that construction crews rehabilitating the bridge at the junction of Interstate 75 and Interstate 475 in Monroe County will close a northbound lane of traffic at the bridge site overnight tonight, Thursday, September 26, 2019, from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. In addition, the lane closure will be in effect continuously through this weekend, starting at 10:00 p.m. Friday night, September 27 and ending at 5:00 a.m. Monday morning, September 30, 2019.

Law enforcement officers will be at the work site for traffic control. Motorists should watch for signage in advance of the closure, be alert to the traffic and work crews, and be aware of possible back-ups.
