The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of scheduled closures for I-75 Northbound at milepoint 117.95 in Fayette County. The temporary closures are necessary for emergency bridge patching operations.
Work is scheduled to occur on Thursday, December 21 from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
Closures: The middle and left lane on the I-75 bridge over Kearney Road will be closed (I 75 will be reduced to one lane at this location)
Exit 75 on I 64 will be closed.
Motorists who are traveling north on I-75 from I 64 east are strongly encouraged to utilize Exit 69 and follow US 62 east to Georgetown to access I 75 Northbound.
All work/closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
