The Florida Department of Transportation reports the following I-75 construction and maintenance operations in the Tampa Bay area that may impact your travel, through January 2, 2018:
- Tampa – The right lane may be closed on northbound I-75 about two miles north of I-4 (Exit 261) approaching the Tampa Bypass Canal (south of Fowler Ave./Exit 265) between 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Sunday through Thursday (December 17 – 21) nights.
- Tampa – One lane may be closed and controlled by flagging operations on Sligh Avenue under the I-4/I-75 interchange area any time of the day or night Friday and Saturday (December 15 and 16) and Monday through Friday (December 18 – 22).
- Wesley Chapel/San Antonio – One lane may be closed on southbound I-75 from SR 52 (Exit 285) to CR 54 (Exit 279) between 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Sunday through Wednesday (December 17 – 20) nights.
- Brooksville – One lane may be closed in each direction of I-75 from south of SR 50 (Exit 301) to the Hernando/Sumter counties line between 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Sunday through Thursday (December 17 – 21) nights.

No interstate closures in the Tampa Bay area over the holidays
Tampa/St. Petersburg, FL – No closures are scheduled on the interstate system in Hernando, Hillsborough, Pasco, and Pinellas counties during the holiday period from December 24, 2017 through January 2, 2018.
