Lane Closures, Possible Travel Delays for I-75 Construction in Ohio

The Ohio Department of Transportation reports the following traffic impacts as a result of I-75 construction and maintenance operations through Sunday, August 5, 2018:

Auglaize County

  • I-75 between SR 219 and Breese Road, Nightly lane closures June 18th – August 10th between the hours of 6 pm and 7 am. One lane will remain open in each direction.

Miami County

  • I-75 between CR 25A (Tipp City) and Eldean Road, Lane closures June 18th – August 31st. These will become double lane closures each night between 7 pm and 6 am. One lane will remain open at all times. *These closures will not be in effect Friday mornings – Sunday afternoons.

Montgomery County

  • I-75 north between North Keowee Street and Stanley Avenue, Overnight lane closures July 30th at 9 pm – July 31st at 5 am. One northbound lane will remain open.
  • I-75 northbound Ramp to I-675, Lane closures July 30th – 31st between 9 am and 3 pm. One northbound lane will remain open on the ramp.
  • I-75 south Ramp to I-675 north, Lane width restriction June 14th – September 1st. One 12’6” lane will remain open on the ramp.
  • I-75 northbound between Lyons Road and Austin Boulevard, Nightly lane closures July 20th – 31st between the hours of 7 pm and 6 am. Two northbound lanes will remain open.
  • I-75 between SR 725 and East River Road, Nightly lane closures July 12th – August 24th between the hours of 7 pm and 6 am. These will become double lane closures at 11 pm. One lane will remain open in each direction.
  • I-75 between SR 48 and Needmore Road, Nightly lane closures April 29th – July 31st between the hours of 7 pm and 6 am. These will become double lane closures at 10 pm. One lane will remain open in each direction.

Shelby County

  • I-75 north between SR 119 and SR 274, Daily lane closures July 30th – August 1st between 9 am and 2:30 pm. One northbound lane will remain open.
  • I-75 south between SR 219 and SR 29, Daily lane closures July 10th – 31st between the hours of 9 am and 2:30 pm. One southbound lane will remain open.

Arrow boards and signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming closure. All work is weather permitting. To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
