The following construction projects are anticipated to affect I-75 in Ohio’s Miami County next week. All outlined work is weather permitting.
Interstate 75 Bridge Replacement – I-75 Bridges over Rush Creek (near Piqua Country Club) will be removed and replaced. I-75 will experience a traffic pattern shift and lane restrictions in each direction, between the Shelby County Line and County Road 25A. Estimated completion is Fall 2022. NEW IMPACTS:
Interstate 75 Traffic Shifts– Expect a traffic pattern shift on I-75 northbound, Monday, June 20 through Saturday, October 15. A single left-lane of I-75 northbound will shift onto I-75 southbound from the Shelby County Line then shifts back prior to the County Road 25A ramp. Drivers will be able to access the County Road 25A ramps. Both lanes of I-75 northbound will be 10′ thru-lanes. There will also be two 10′ side-by-side thru-lanes on I-75 southbound that will shift to the right. Crews will be working on a bridge replacement project. Traffic will be maintained in the work zone.
CONTINUING IMPACTS:
Interstate 75 Bridge Sealing – Expect outside shoulder closures on I-75 southbound, between County Road 25A(Piqua-Troy Road) and North County Road 25A, on Friday, June 3 through Monday, August 22, from 7 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Crews will be patching and sealing the bridge abutments and piers.
