Lane, Ramp Closures, Detours for I-75/I-74 Major Reconstruction Project This Week

The Ohio Department of Transportation reports that, as part of the Interstate 75/I-74 Mill Creek Expressway project, the following roadway restrictions are scheduled to be in place this week, as weather permits. 

Thursday, October 6:

  • Single-lane closure on I-74 East, between Montana Avenue and the I-74/75 split, on I-74 West, between Montana Avenue and the bridge over Mill Creek and Spring Grove Avenue, from 8:00 p.m. each night to 6:00 a.m. the following day.
  • Closure of the entrance ramp from Beekman Street to I-74 East from 10:00 p.m. each night to 5:00 a.m. the following day. Traffic will be detoured via I-74 West and the Montana Avenue interchange to I-74 East. 
  • Single-lane closure on I-75 South, between Mitchell Avenue and the I-74 East merge, from 8:00 p.m. each night to 6:00 a.m. the following day.
  • Closure of the ramp from Hopple Street to I-75 North from 10:00 p.m. each night to 5:00 a.m. the following day. Traffic will be detoured via I-74 West and the Montana Avenue interchange to I-74 East and I-75 North.
  • Single-lane closure on I-75 North, between Hopple Street and the I-74 East merge, nightly starting at 8:00 p.m., followed by a double-lane closure at 10:00 p.m., and a triple-lane closure at 11:00 p.m., with all restrictions lifted by 6:00 a.m. the following day.

Friday, October 7:

  • Single-lane closure on I-74 East, between Montana Avenue and the I-74/75 split, on I-74 West, between Montana Avenue and the bridge over Mill Creek and Spring Grove Avenue, from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Saturday.
  • Closure of the entrance ramp from Beekman Street to I-74 East from 10:00 p.m. each night to 5:00 a.m. the following day. Traffic will be detoured via I-74 West and the Montana Avenue interchange to I-74 East. 
  • Single-lane closure on I-75 South, between Mitchell Avenue and Hopple Street, from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Saturday.
