The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) reports the following restrictions that will be in place this week on the Interstate 75/I-74 Mill Creek Expressway – Phase 5B project.
Thursday, July 11:
- Closure of the right lane on I-74 East, between the northbound Beekman Street overpass bridge and the Elmore Street overpass, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Friday, July 12.
- Full closure of the ramp from southbound Beekman Street to I-74 East, between 7:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. Friday. During closure, traffic will be detoured via Beekman Street, Elmore Street, Colerain Avenue, Beekman Street, I-74 West, and the Montana Avenue Texas Turnaround.
Saturday, July 13:
- Full closure of Spring Grove Avenue, between Colerain Avenue and Millcreek Road, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday, July 14. During closure, traffic will be detoured via Spring Grove Avenue, Monmouth Avenue, Central Parkway and Ludlow Avenue.
This $84.9 million project began in the spring of 2022, and is on schedule to be completed in the summer of 2025.
