Starting Wednesday, Aug. 17, crews will implement a single-lane closure on the northbound I-75 ramp to westbound Square Lake Road, and on northbound I-75 from Coolidge to Square Lake roads, according to the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT).

The work is part of the two-year, $90.8 million investment between Coolidge Highway and South Boulevard that includes reconstructing pavement, replacing bridges, and modernizing the Square Lake Road interchange.

Beginning at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 17, the right lane on the northbound I-75 ramp to westbound Square Lake Road will be closed. The left lane of the ramp will remain open. In addition, crews will close the right lane on northbound I-75 from Coolidge to Square Lake roads. This continuous lane closure on northbound I-75 will alternate between the right and left lanes as crews prepare to install a traffic shift in mid-September.
