Lane Restrictions, Traffic Delays Expected for I-75 Work in Ohio

The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) Construction season is beginning in northwest Ohio. Some projects’ work has continued through the winter months, and a few projects are just getting started. An official kick-off to the construction season will be celebrated at an event in mid-April. The following construction projects are anticipated to affect I-75 in Wood and Lucas Counties in the coming weeks. All outlined work is weather permitting.

Wood County (Perrysburg, Bowling Green Area)

  • Interstate 75, between Buck Road and Monroe Street, Toledo/Rossford/Northwood
    I-75 motorists may experience occasional lane restrictions for finish work related to a reconstruction project.
    • Southbound I-75, south of South Avenue. will experience lane restrictions for final surface course application beginning late April/early May.
  • Interstate 75, between SR 795 and Buck Road, Rossford
    I-75 motorists will experience lane restrictions for overhead bridge reconstruction beginning Monday, March 4 through summer 2025. Additional restrictions will be announced.
    • Lime City Road over Interstate 75, Rossford, is reduced to one lane in each direction with a temporary traffic signal.

Lucas County (Toledo Metro Area)

  • Interstate 75, between Buck Road and Monroe Street, Toledo/Rossford/Northwood
    I-75 motorists may experience occasional lane restrictions for finish work related to a reconstruction project.
    • Southbound I-75, south of South Ave. will experience lane restrictions for final surface course application beginning late April/early May.
