Lane Shifts, Closures Other Restrictions for I-75 Work in Ohio

The Ohio Department of Transportation reports that the the following construction projects are anticipated to affect Interstate 75 in Ohio this week. All outlined work is weather permitting.

  • Montgomery County
    • Interstate 75 Bridge Repairs – Expect a traffic pattern shift on I-75 northbound between Albany Street and State Route 741 (Springboro Pike) from Friday, November 12, 2021 – Friday, September 2, 2022. The far-left 11′ lane will shift onto I-75 southbound from S.R. 741 (Springboro Pike) in Moraine then shift back at Stewart Street. There will be two 11′ side-by-side thru-lanes on I-75 northbound next to the median wall.
    • Interstate 75 Bridge Repairs – Expect three 11′ lanes on I-75 southbound to shift to the right onto the newly constructed pavement on Friday, November 12, 2021 – Friday, September 2, 2022.
    • Interstate 75 Bridge Repairs – I-75 southbound and northbound will experience nightly lane width restrictions and multiple lane closures, between Albany Street and S.R. 741, through Friday, September 2, 2022.
    • Interstate 75 Bridge Demolition – Both directions of I-75 will experience double and single lane closures between Northwoods Blvd. and the Montgomery/Miami County Line through Friday, November 12. Crews are removing a railroad bridge structure over I-75.
    • Interstate 75 Maintenance – I-75 will experience nightly double and single lane closures between State Route 4 and Wagner Ford Road on Monday, November 8 to Wednesday, November 10, from 9:00 p.m. – 5:30 a.m. Crews will be performing asphalt repairs.
  • Hamilton County
    • I-75/Mill Creek Expressway Major Rehabilitation  – Major rehabilitation project at the I-74/75 interchange to widen and resurface I-75 between Paddock Road and the Western Hills Viaduct and reconfigure the interchange. Work also includes interchange improvements at Hopple Street, I-74, Mitchell Avenue, Norwood Lateral and Paddock Road. Various lane closures and restrictions will be in effect in the construction zone.
    • I-75 Thru the Valley Major Rehabilitation – Between Glendale-Milford Road and the Kemper Road overpass. Lane and shoulder restrictions will be in effect on the mainline, as well as on the ramps at the Sharon Road interchange, including the following, weather permitting.
  • Butler County
    • I-75 Resurfacing – Pavement repair and resurfacing between the Hamilton-Butler County line (Crescentville Road) to just north of Tylersville Road. Traffic will be maintained with single-lane restrictions in effect through the work zone; double-lane closures may be in effect during late evening/overnight hours as needed. A reduced speed limit is also in effect. The project is scheduled for completion in late fall.
