Long Term Closure Scheduled for I 75 Rest Area in Kentucky

Scott County Kentucky Rest Area | I-75 Exit Guide

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of a scheduled closure for the Southbound rest area. The temporary closure is necessary for upgrades to be completed for the building.

Wednesday, July 6 through Friday, December 2 â€“ (12:00 p.m. Wednesday until 12:00 p.m. Friday)

Interstate 75

  • the Southbound rest area (building) will be temporarily closed between milepoints 127.000 and 128.000
  • the truck parking lot will remain open with restroom accommodations for semi–tractor trailer drivers

All work, and closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
