The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) reports that the southbound I-75 ramp to US 301 North will close from 9:00 p.m., Thursday, December 5, to 5:00 a.m., Friday, December 6, and continue Sunday through Thursday nights over the next two weeks (December 8 – 12 and 15 – 19), weather permitting.
Motorists needing to access US 301 North from southbound I-75 will use the ramp toward US 301 South (Riverview), merge onto southbound US 301, turn right onto Progress Boulevard, turn right onto Faulkenburg Road, and proceed toward US 301.
Electronic message boards and signage will assist motorists traveling through the area. Motorists should use caution while driving through the work zone and remain alert for construction workers.
These temporary ramp closures are necessary for ongoing concrete pavement repairs to I-75 from Progress Boulevard to Woodberry Road in Hillsborough County.
