The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will close the northbound I-75 entrance ramp at Bristol Road to accommodate reconstruction of the north side of the roundabout. This 14-day closure is part of an overall $3 million investment to construction a roundabout on Bristol Road adjacent to I-75 and the General Motors plant entrance to mitigate congestion and improve motorist safety.

On Sept. 14 at 6:30 a.m., the northbound I-75 ramp at Bristol Road will be detoured. Motorists are advised to follow the posted detour: westbound Bristol Road to eastbound I-69, back to northbound I-75. Additional phases of construction and their expected traffic impact will be shared as the project progresses.

Estimated completion date is November 2016.
