Various lane and ramp restrictions will be in effect on I-75 next week in the Cincinnati area as contractors for the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) perform soil borings.
Beginning Monday, March 17, and continuing throughout the week, a single-lane closure will be in effect on southbound I-75, between the Western Avenue on-ramp to I-75 South and 7th Street, nightly from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the following day.
In addition, the ramps from Western Avenue and 9th Street to I-75 South will be closed each night during the same hours, and traffic will be detoured by way of Western Avenue, Gest Street and Freeman Avenue to W. 6th Street (U.S. 50 East).
Along with the restrictions on southbound I-75, crews will close the ramp from W. 6th Street (U.S. 50 East) to I-71 North each night next week, March 17-21, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following day, and traffic will be detoured by way of 2nd Street to I-71 North.
