Multiple Lane, Ramp Closures, Delays for I-75 Construction in Ohio This Week

As part of the Interstate 75/I-74 Mill Creek Expressway project, the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) reports the following restrictions will be in effect this week:

Tuesday, March 28:

  • The I-74 West thru lane will be closed between the Colerain Avenue/Beekman Street exit (Exit 18) to the bridge over southbound Beekman Street from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Wednesday. The exit and westbound contraflow lane will remain open.
  • Single-lane closure on I-75 South, between Mitchell Avenue and the I-74 interchange, beginning at 8:00 p.m., followed by a double-lane closure at 9:00 p.m. All restrictions will be lifted by 6:00 a.m. Wednesday.
  • Single-lane closure on I-75 North, between I-74 and Mitchell Avenue, from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Wednesday.
  • Intermittent, short-term (15-minute) full closure of I-75 South between Mitchell and I-74, from midnight to 4:00 a.m. Wednesday. 

Wednesday, March 29:

  • Single-lane closure on the ramp from I-74 East to I-75 South, from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Thursday. 
  • Single-lane closure on I-75 North, between Monmouth Street and I-74, from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Thursday. 

Thursday, March 30:

  • Single-lane closure on I-75 North, between Monmouth Street and I-74, from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Friday. 

Saturday, April 1:

  • The ramp from I-74 West to Colerain Avenue/Beekman Street (Exit 18) will be closed from 8:00 p.m. to 12:00 p.m. (noon) Sunday, April 2. Motorists may detour by way of the Montana Avenue interchange and I-74 East.

Motorists are reminded to use additional caution through the work zone.
