The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) reports that, as of Sunday, July 28, 2024, a newly constructed diverging diamond interchange (DDI) at SR 574 (MLK) over I-75 is now open to traffic.
Vehicles traveling through the new interchange now cross SR 574 (MLK) from the right side to the left side of the road, continue through the interchange, and then cross back to the right side.
Drivers should use caution while traveling through the work zone and are reminded to remain alert for construction workers.
This newly constructed diverging diamond interchange is part of the ongoing improvements to I-75 from SR 574 (MLK) to I-4 in Hillsborough County. Construction activities are expected to finish in the summer of 2025.
