Northbound I-75 Ramp in Florida Closing Monday Night

The Florida Department of Transportation reports that the northbound I-75 ramp from Gibsonton Drive (Gibsonville, Florida) will close Monday, May 17 from 10:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 18, weather permitting.

During this closure, motorists will continue east on Gibsonton Drive, north on US 301 to northbound I-75.

Electronic message boards and detour signs will be used to assist motorists traveling through this area. Access to emergency vehicles, residential properties, and local businesses to be maintained. Motorists should expect delays and congestion while traveling on these roadways during this detour.

This temporary closure is part of a $9.8 million repaving project of I-75 between Big Bend Road (CR 672) and Progress Boulevard in Hillsborough County.
