The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) reports that all motorists traveling on northbound I-75 will have to detour off the interstate using SR 60 (Exit 257) from 11:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 11, to 4:30 a.m., Thursday, September 12, weather permitting.
During this temporary closure, all northbound motorists will exit I-75 using Exit 257, turn west onto SR 60 (Adamo Drive), turn north onto Falkenburg Road, turn east onto SR 574 (Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard), and re-enter the interstate using the northbound I-75 entrance ramp.
Drivers should use caution while traveling through the work zone and remain alert for construction workers.
This temporary road closure requires crews to install an overhead sign structure for the I-75 ramp configuration and interchange modifications from SR 574 (Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard) to I-4 in Hillsborough County. Construction activities are expected to finish during the summer of 2025.
