The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) reports that roads will be busy for the upcoming 4th of July holiday, and they will be doing what that can to make travel a little less stressful.
ODOT will work to suspend as much road work as possible, but you will still see active projects on I-75 in Dayton and Cincinnati, I-70 in Zanesville, I-70/71 in Columbus, and several projects in Akron.
Below are ODOT travel forecasts for I-75 cities in Ohio (north to south) from 2019, the last time July 4 fell on a Thursday.
