The Ohio Department of Transportation reports the following I-75 construction project update:

The Interstate 75/Hopple Street project requires the following restrictions tonight (Friday, September 29, 2017):

  • Close the left lane of northbound I-75 from just south of Hopple Street to the Monmouth Street bridge from 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 29 until 5 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 30.
  • In addition, close the left lane of westbound I-74 from just south of the Monmouth Street bridge to I-75 from 8:30 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Saturday.

Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and restrictions.

To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
