The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of an overnight lane closure on Interstates 71/75 northbound in Kenton County on Thursday, October 10.

Work will require a single right lane closure on I-71/75 northbound beginning at the Kyles Lane (KY 1072) overpass (mile point 188.6), to the end of the on-ramp from Kyles Lane to I-71/75 northbound (mile point 189.0), a distance of 0.4 miles. This lane closure will be in place from Thursday, October 10 at 9:00 p.m., to Friday, October 11 at 5:00 a.m.

The Kyles Lane on-ramp to I-71/75 northbound will remain open with on-ramp traffic shifting to the left prior to entering mainline I-71/75.

This work is part of an ongoing project on/near I-71/75 from south of the Dixie Highway (U.S. 25) exit to the Brent Spence Bridge. Crews have been performing work utilizing shoulder closures to minimize traffic impacts to the motoring public.

This portion of the project is expected to be completed Friday, October 11 at 5:00 a.m. Additional lane closures will be announced once scheduled. The overall bore work is expected to be completed Wednesday, October 30.

The date, time, and duration of work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.
